Case Study: How Fidjit Built a Digital Presence From a Standing Start

Fidjit built an online portal supporting students with SEND and SEMH needs in primary schools. When they were ready to go to market, they had no existing brand presence, no benchmark data, and a genuinely difficult audience to reach: school leaders and SENCOs navigating packed budgets and a long, considered sales cycle.

The challenge

Education marketing doesn’t reward generic messaging or quick wins. Fidjit needed a partner who understood the sector’s sales cycle well enough to set realistic expectations, and could speak to a niche audience without sounding like every other ed-tech pitch in their inbox.

What we did

We started with the audience, not the content calendar: understanding what school leaders and SENCOs actually care about, then building messaging and creative around those pain points rather than a generic feature list. Every post had to do two things at once: read as professional enough for a school leader, and warm enough for a product built around children’s wellbeing.

The results

Fidjit launched into education, a sector with a long sales cycle and no room for generic messaging, with no existing digital presence. Once we understood the audience properly, their email campaigns landed a 25% open rate and 17% click-through rate, and a Facebook ad hit a 2.4% click-through rate, well above paid social benchmarks and streets ahead of their previous PPC activity.

Creatives were redesigned and then struck the balance the client asked for: professional enough to be taken seriously, warm enough to fit a product built for children.

“Conv3rt Marketing’s breadth of knowledge and expertise has been very valuable to us as we navigate our marketing endeavours.”
Dom Starkey, Founder of Fidjit

The result: a brand that launched into a cautious, relationship-driven sector with a strategy built around its audience, not just a content calendar, and email results that beat anything paid media alone had delivered before.
